From idea to working technology
The way we handle textiles is changing. To be able to reuse and recycle more textiles to a high standard, it is important that collected textiles can be recognized and sorted faster, more accurately, and on a larger scale.
During the Open Day, you will have the opportunity to view the technology up close and discover how different components come together.
A look behind the scenes
We take you through the textile sorting process. You will discover what happens from the moment collected textile arrives and see what the current way of sorting looks like.

Learning about the textile sorting of the future
Next, we look ahead. In the innovation space, you will get to know the technology that SORTED is developing to automatically recognize and sort textiles. You will see the prototypes in action and receive an explanation of the possibilities of this technology.
Discover, learn and participate
In addition to the tours, the Open Day will focus on reuse, recycling, and the value of textiles as a raw material. You can also test your knowledge during an interactive textile quiz.
Whether you are interested in technology, sustainability, recycling, or simply want to know what happens to textiles after they are collected: the Open Day offers a unique look at a development that could change the textile chain in the coming years.
