Ecoras is an expert in realizing circular ambitions.
In the SORTED project, we play a coordinating and supportive role towards Sympany. We ensure that partners in the chain collaborate effectively and that the project goals are translated into feasible actions.
With our knowledge of circular processes and project management, we help accelerate the transition to a truly circular textile chain in North Netherlands.
Sven Jurgens, managing partner of Ecoras, states:
We are going to work on a circular textile chain. Started from Northern Netherlands, but ultimately with a global impact. The uniqueness of this project lies in the chain approach and the focus on automatic sorting for both reuse and recycling.
Automatic sorting for reuse? SORTED.
Fiber-to-fiber recycling. SORTED.
Conscious consumers? SORTED.
Circular Textile Chain in the North: SORTED!
The latest SORTED news:
It's official: SORTED is starting
Today, October 31, the deputy Bennema from the province of Groningen, deputy Meeuwissen from the province of Drenthe, and councilor Rink from the municipality of Emmen presented the JTF subsidy to Charles Graft, director / manager of Sympany.
Why SORTED is needed: "The textile chain needs to be smarter, more affordable, and circular"
The textile chain needs to change. More discarded textiles, declining quality, and high costs make the current system unsustainable. With SORTED, partners from the entire chain work together on smart technology, better sorting, and high-quality recycling. In this interview, Charles Graft and Sven Jurgens explain why collaboration and innovation are crucial for a circular textile chain.
